Did you see what I did to my mother’s living room back in June 2015?  Those supplies were eventually packed, inventoried, and loaded onto a container which was shipped to us in the village.  I finally got up the courage to open the doors to see what awaited me.

Did you know the very day a Coup was announced, we received word our container was on its way to us.  I quickly wrote and asked if they couldn’t hold it up.  Thankfully, they agreed.  Once the Coup was squashed, I told them it was safe to send it on.  However, I became very ill, and the container arrived while I was in the hospital which meant I couldn’t be there to assure the safety of our precious materials.

Putting a container on the ground in the village is no easy feat.  We had hired a crane to lift it off the truck and place it on our property; but the container had to be emptied in order for this to happen.  Long story short, the crane malfunctioned and the BFO team spent two nights sleeping under the stars to prevent looting.

Surprisingly the new mattress I had purchased for myself is missing, but all other materials seem to be accounted for.  How does one walk off with a full-size mattress? And, how does one steal a mattress but nothing else?  The missing mattress will forever be a mystery; but we’ve been blessed with so many awesome teaching materials, school supplies, candy, food, t-shirts, conference supplies, and more.  Thank you especially to E-Free church for the donation to be able to purchase these materials and to Jim Simon who did so much to help us ship the container.  We are blessed!
