We attempted drilling for water in the village of W. three times.  The fourth time was the charm!  This is one of the villages where BFO has three elementary classrooms; and they desperately needed water.

The most exciting part is the location.  Before drilling, a survey team identified the most likely location for finding water; but the chief of the village would not allow drilling there.  Apparently years ago, some man did something evil and was killed and buried near that particular site.  The chief feared that drilling so close to his grave would provoke his spirit to rise up against the village.

The BFO staff prayed, the students prayed, and our prayer warriors in the U.S. prayed; and the Lord answered!  Water now flows from a pump for all who come with their buckets and barrels.  Students and teachers from the BFO school now have easy access to clean water – what an incredible blessing.
